Beatrice explained all that had taken

Before Beatrice could ask the reason for this remark, the door opened, and Vivian, very pale and defiant, entered. "I heard your last words, Ruck," he said calmly, "and beg to tell you that you are quite wrong. Miss Hedge will become my wife in two weeks--that is"--he bowed to Beatrice--"if she will accept me as her husband."It really did seem as though the course of this true love was about to run smooth. Durban, to whom place during Ruck's visit, heard what she had to say in silence, and seemed relieved when he heard the whole.

"I am glad that Mr. Paslow arrived at the moment," said Durban, when the story was ended. "He and the Major now understand one another."

"I never knew that Vivian was acquainted with Major Ruck."

"He met him at Mr. Alpenny's town office, missy."

"The Major seemed to threaten Vivian," observed the girl thoughtfully.

Durban shrugged his fat shoulders. "That is so like the Major," he retorted carelessly; "he is all stage thunder. Now that he knows you have not the necklace, he will trouble you no more. Mr. Paslow is not rich, missy; and you have lost the master's money; still, I should like you to marry the man you love, and go away."

"Why do you want me to go away?" she demanded peremptorily.

"It will be better," murmured Durban, uneasily.

"You are still keeping something from me, Durban?"

"Nothing that is necessary for you to know, missy."

Beatrice saw very well that the old servant was fencing, and wondered what it was that he feared. "The necklace?" she said suddenly.

"I do not know where it is, missy."

"Did you ever see it?"

"Once. Colonel Hall showed it to me--a very fine set of diamonds."

"Where did Colonel Hall get it?"

"I cannot say--somewhere in the West Indies, I think."

"You were Colonel Hall's servant in the West Indies, Durban?"

"I was, missy." Durban looked at her with fire in his dark eyes. "He was the best of masters, and I loved him. He brought me to this place with him, and here he met with his death."

"Do you know who killed him?"

"No, missy, I do not."

"Why did you take service with Mr. Alpenny?"

"I was poor," said Durban, with a shrug, "and my master, the Colonel, was dead. I had no home, and I was thankful to accept the situation. I might not have stayed in it for so long, missy, but that Mr. Alpenny married. It was you who have kept me at The Camp all these years."

"And what about Mrs. Hall?"

"Nothing, missy. She was a silent lady. I know very little about her."

"Durban"--Beatrice looked at him keenly--"are you telling me the truth?"

curiosity soon overcame any chagrin

Later, as they all ate, her eyes grew wide with amazement. She had never seen anyone shift such vast amounts of food, not even Constance or Ambrose Spike. They were huge eaters, but mere amateurs compared with Basil Stag Hare.PolyU, which is known for offering a life-changing Student experience, has also recruited outstanding students from the mainland and overseas for its academic programmes.
Basil wiped his mouth daintily on a napkin. He had impeccable manners to match his insatiable appetite. He gushed forth praise for the Abbey victuals. "Oh excellent! Absolutely top hole! D'you know, I'd forgotten how good the old tiffin at Redwall could be. I say, m'dear, would you mind refreshing an old bachelor hare's memory? Another tankard of that fine October ale, and perhaps one more portion of your very good summer salad. Ah, and I think I could manage another few
slices of Friar Hugo's quince pie. Superb! Ahem, don't forget the goatsmilk cheese with hazelnuts. I'm very partial to that. Cut along now, you little charmer. My word, what an attractive young fieldmouse girl."
Cornflower sent two of her helpers. They had to go the long way around to reach the kitchens. Abbot Mortimer had declared Great Hall and Cavern Hole out of bounds to all creatures, with the exception of those helping Matthias and Methuselah.
Below the newly-discovered steps, a pair of lanterns cast pools of golden light into the inky blackness. The two mice made their way gingerly down the secret staircase. The moles stayed outside, ready to help if they were needed further.
The air was chilly but dry. Deeper and deeper the two friends went until the steps ended at the beginning of a downward-winding corridor. It had been neatly dug and shored up with wooden supports. Matthias suppressed a shudder. How long had it been since any creature trod this silent musty passage? He brushed away cobwebs which disintegrated at the touch of a paw. Methuselah held on to his habit. Now they turned left, now right, then another left turn, left again, then right. Methuselah's voice sounded hollow and eerie. "The passage was probably dug like this to give it extra strength. Have you noticed, Matthias? We seem to be going downwards still."Just a few minutes of walk to the famous hong kong victoria harbour and shopping centres from GuangDong Hotel. Our Precious guest also can easily access to all major transportations.

"Yes, we must be nearly underneath the Abbey foundations," Matthias replied.
The friends pressed onwards. They could not estimate how long they had been following the course of this ancient winding corridor. Methuselah had ventured slightly ahead. Now he halted.
"Aha, this looks like the end of the line," he squeaked.
It was a door.
Together they inspected it. Built of stout timber, banded with iron, beset with florin spikes, the door did not appear to be locked. Yet it would not budge.
Matthias held his lantern high. "Look, there's some writing on die lintel over the door."
Methuselah read it aloud:
" 'The same as the steps 'twixt the Hall, Remember and look to the center. My password again is Redwall, Am that is, you alone are to enter." "
The old mouse did not hide his disappointment. "Humph! After all the help and assistance that I've given, countless hours of study and valuable time. Really !"
His words fell upon deaf ears. Matthias was already counting the florin spikes that were driven into the door.
Methuselah feigned indifference, but his natural he felt at not being allowed to pass the doorway.
"Need any help, young mouse?"
"Forty-two, forty-three, hush! Can't you see I'm trying to count?" came the reply.
The old gatehouse-keeper put on his glasses. "Well, have you solved the riddle all by yourself?"

Berty was reassured until

“Dear Grandma,” said Berty, on this afternoon, abruptly dropping on a foot-stool beside her, and putting her head on her knee, “dear Grandma.”
Mrs. Travers, still steadily knitting, glanced at her as if to say, “Why this sudden access of affection?”
“It doesn’t mean anything in particular,” said Berty, pressing still closer, “only that you are so dear.”
Grandma smiled, and went on with her work.
“You are just toeing that stocking off,” said Berty.
“Yes, dear,” replied her grandmother. “This is[272] the last of the six pairs for Mrs. Darley-James. You will remember, Berty, they are all for her.”
“Why should I remember?” asked the girl, anxiously. “You always remember for yourself.”
“True,” said Mrs. Travers, composedly, and, getting up, she went to her writing-desk. Taking out a roll of exquisitely made stockings, she wrapped them in a piece of paper, and with a firm hand wrote, “Mrs. Darley-James, from her old friend, Margaret Travers .”
Having directed the parcel, she left her desk and went to the veranda.
Berty followed her. Grandma was looking strangely up and down the river—strangely and restlessly. At last she said, “It’s a glorious afternoon. I should like to go out in a boat.”
“But, Grandma,” said Berty, uneasily, “do you feel able for it?”
Her grandmother looked at her, and the brightness of her face silenced the girl’s scruples.
“I will take you in my boat, dear,” she said, gently, “if you wish to go.”
“I should like to have Margaretta come,” said Mrs. Travers.
“Very well, we will send for her.”
“And Roger,” said Grandma.
[273]
“Roger is at an important business meeting this afternoon, I happen to know,” said Berty, hesitatingly.
“He would leave it for me,” said Grandma.
“Do you wish me to ask him?” inquired Berty, in some anxiety.
“Yes,” said Grandma, softly.
Berty got up and was about to leave the veranda, when Mrs. Travers went on. “Will you send for Bonny, too?”
“Oh, Grandma, don’t you feel well?” asked Berty, in increasing anxiety .
“Just at present I do, dear,” and her voice was so clear, her manner so calm, that her next remark.
“Berty, where is Tom this afternoon?”
“Oh, Grandma, he was going to Bangor on business. He is just about getting to the station now.”
“Will you send for him, too?”
“Send for him?” faltered Berty. “Oh, Grandma, you are ill. You must be ill.”
“Do I look ill?”
“Oh, no, no,” said Berty, in despair. “You don’t look ill, your face is like an angel’s, but you frighten me.”
[274]
“My child,” said Grandma, “I never felt better in my life; but despatch your messengers.”
Berty left the room. She had a strange sensation as if walking on air. “Bring your boat, Roger,” she wrote, “your family boat. Mine isn’t large enough.”
Her messengers were faithful, and in an hour Margaretta, Bonny, Roger, and Tom were hastening to the house.
Berty met them in the hall. “No, Grandma isn’t ill,” she said, with a half-sob. “Don’t stare at her, and don’t frighten her. She just took a fancy to go out boating, and to have you all with her.”
“But it is so unlike Grandma to interfere or to disarrange plans,” murmured Margaretta; “there is something wrong.” However, she said nothing aloud, and went quietly into the parlour with the others and spoke to Grandma, who looked at them all with a strange brightness in her eyes, but said little .

A whistle had sounded shrilly upon

“Hi! there! Let up, will you?” he cried, as the dog twisted and squirmed away from him. Gallatin’s left and before he knew it the dog had escaped him and was dashing hotfoot through the leaves toward the spot where a dark figure with another dog on a leash was rapidly moving.
Gallatin followed briskly and came up a moment later, in the midst of the excitement of reunion and reconciliation.
“Down, Chicot, down, I say,” the girl was commanding. “Aren’t you ashamed of yourself to be giving so much trouble!” And as Gallatin approached, breathlessly, hat in hand, “I’m ever so much obliged. I ought to have had him in leash. He’s only a puppy and—” She stopped, mouth open, eyes wide as she recognized him. He saw the look she gave him and bowed his head .
“Jane!” he said, humbly. “Jane!”
The dogs were leaping around them both and Chicot[86] was biting joyously at his gloved hand, but Miss Loring had drawn back.
“You!” she said.
“Yes,” softly. “I—I’m so glad to see you.”
He held his hand before him as though to parry an expected blow.
“Don’t,” he muttered. “Give me a chance. There’s so much I’ve got to say,—so much——”
“There’s nothing for you to say,” she said decisively. “If you’ll excuse me—I—I must be going at once.”
She turned away quickly, but the dogs were putting her dignity in jeopardy for the puppy still nosed Gallatin’s hand and showed a determination to linger for his caress .
“You’ve got to listen,” he murmured. “I’m not going to lose you again——”
“Come, Chicot,” said the girl in a voice which was meant to be peremptory, but which sounded curiously ineffective. Chicot would not go until Gallatin caught him by the collar and followed.
“You see,” he laughed, “you’ve got to stand for me—or lose the puppy.”
But Miss Loring had turned abruptly and was moving rapidly toward the distant Avenue. Gallatin put on his hat and walked at her side.
“I want you to know—how it all happened to me—up there in the woods,” he muttered, through set lips. “It’s only justice to me—and to you.”
“Will you please leave me!” she said, in a stifled voice, her head stiffly set, her eyes looking straight down the path before her dermes.
“No,” he replied, more calmly. “I’m not going to leave you.”
“Oh, that you would dare!”
[87]
“Don’t, Jane!” he pleaded. “Can’t you see that I’ve got to go with you whether——”
“My name is Loring,” she interrupted coldly, strongly accenting the word.
“Won’t you listen to me?”
“I’m entirely at your mercy—unfortunately. I’ve always thought that a girl was safe from intrusion here in the Park.”
“Don’t call it that. I’ll go in a moment, if you’ll only hear what I’ve got to say.”

Barker had watched the tide

The house of his fathers was in a by-street in the center of the fashionable shopping district, and this dwelling, an old-fashioned double house of brown stone, was the only relic that remained to Phil of the former grandeur of the Gallatins. Great lawyers, however successful in safeguarding the interests of their clients, are notable failures in safeguarding the interests of their own. Philip Gallatin, the elder, had inherited a substantial fortune, but had added nothing to it. He had lived like a prince and was known as the most lavish host of his day. He consorted with the big men of his generation when the Gallatin house was famous alike for its cellar and kitchen. Here were entertained presidents and ex-presidents of the United States, foreign princes, distinguished artists and literary men, and here it was claimed, over Philip Gallatin’s priceless Madeira, the way had been paved for an important treaty with the Russian government Polar.
Philip Gallatin, the second, had made money easily and spent it more easily, to the end that at the time of his death it was discovered that the home was heavily mortgaged, and that his holdings in great industrial corporations,[248] many of which he had helped to organize, had been disposed of, leaving an income which, while ample for Mrs. Gallatin and her only child during the years of his boyhood, when the taste of society was for quieter things, was entirely inadequate to the growing requirements of the day. At his mother’s death, just after he came of age, Phil Gallatin had found himself possessed of less than eight thousand a year gross, and a mortgage which called for almost one-half that sum. But he resolutely refused to part with the house, for it had memories and associations dear to him .
Three years ago, with a pang which he still remembered, he had decided to rent out the basement and lower floors for business purposes and apply the income thus received to taxes and sinking fund, but he still kept the rooms on the third floor which he had always occupied, as his own. An old servant named Barker, one of the family retainers, was in attendance. of commerce flow in and at last engulf the street which in his mind would always be associated with the family which he had served so long. But he would not go, so Philip Gallatin found a place for him. In the building he was janitor, engineer, rent collector, and valet. He cooked Phil’s breakfast of eggs and coffee and brought it up to him, made his bed and kept his rooms with the same scrupulous care that he had exercised in the heydey of prosperity. He was Phil’s doctor, nurse and factotum, and kept the doors of Gallatin’s apartments against all invaders .

the legs at the joints.

Spatchcocking means to split open and flatten out a bird for grilling or barbecuing. This speeds up the cooking time and ensures more even cooking.

-If the bird is trussed, remove the string tying the legs together. Cut off the flap of skin at the neck, then cut off the ends of the legs at the joints.

-Remove the backbone from the bird by carefully pushing a knife into the bottom-end of the bird until you see the point of the knife emerge at the neck. Push the knife down against one side of the spine, cutting through the rib cage.

-Open up the bird and cut away the spine at the other side.

-Place the bird, skin-side down, onto the chopping board. Break the breast bone by hitting it with your hand (this will flatten the bird so that it grills more easily).

-Turn in the legs of the bird so that it looks like it's cross-legged.

-Make a hole in the loose skin connecting the legs of the bird to its body. Hook the ends of the legs into these holes. Tuck the wings under the body of the bird.

a parka-clad Luke Skywalker.

They have thick fur, of a dirty white colour – which makes sense given the snowy landscape they live in. But they seem rather unsuited to being ridden by humans reenex.

So far we have no evidence that any asteroids in the solar system are inhabited by huge worms

Almost all the animals humans ride are four-legged, the most obvious example being horses. But tauntauns are bipedal, holding their arms in front of them in the manner of a predatory dinosaur like Tyrannosaurus rex.

This means all their weight is supported by their hind legs. You would think that a tauntaun would buckle under the additional weight of a parka-clad Luke Skywalker reenex.

But not necessarily. There is one bipedal animal that humans can and do ride: ostriches. If they can handle it, presumably tauntauns can too.

Exogorths

Wait, what? These are never named onscreen, but they were memorable nonetheless. In The Empire Strikes Back, Han Solo hides the Millennium Falcon in a tunnel in an asteroid – only to discover that the tunnel is home to a gigantic worm-like creature and he has parked his ship on its tongue. This beast was subsequently named as an Exogorth reenex
.

So far we have no evidence that any asteroids in the solar system are inhabited by huge worms, and it does seem rather unlikely. But the various elements of the Exogorth, on their own, have a basis in reality.

The history of soil has been shaped

All major soil orders had appeared on Earth with the exception of grassland soils,” explains Retallack. Grasslands didn’t begin to appear until about 65 million years ago, after the extinction of the dinosaurs.

The history of soil has been shaped by physical factors and living organisms, through a dynamic web of interacting processes that began at the dawn of geological time, billions of years ago. And the story of soil is continuing to unfold as a consequence of our actions over the last few centuries reenex
.

Prior to 1960, the nitrogen cycle was roughly balanced across the world. Since then, the use of nitrogen fertilisers has increased some 800%. Too many nutrients can be just as harmful as too few – excess nitrogen is washed into rivers and streams where it can cause devastating algal blooms, leading to the release of nitrous oxide, a dangerous greenhouse gas and a hazard to human health.

Large swathes of Indonesian peatlands have been burning continuously for several months now

The change is the largest the nitrogen cycle has experienced in 2.5 billion years and it could have serious consequences for our food supply and climate reenex
.

Disruptions to key nutrient cycles in the soil are particularly worrying because the soil system tends to respond slowly to change – any harm done by humans now may take decades, even centuries to repair.

Soil can be a direct source of greenhouse gases too. By trapping organic matter, soils are one of the major stores of carbon, keeping it from becoming CO2 in the atmosphere. But when, for example, peatlands are burned, that carbon finds its way back into the atmosphere.

Large swathes of Indonesian peatlands have been burning continuously for several months now, releasing more greenhouse gases each day than the entire US, in what has been described as “the greatest environmental disreenex

France is still in a state of emergency after the attacks.

French prosecutors say at least 11 militants in three co-ordinated teams were involved in the killings.

Nine are dead and two suspects - Salah Abdeslam and Mohamed Abrini - are still on the run.

French police have carried out hundreds of raids across the country and raids have also taken place in the Belgian capital Brussels where some of the attackers were from reenex cps.

Earlier on Sunday, more than 200 demonstrators were arrested in Paris after clashes with police reenex.

It came as climate change activists formed a human chain along the route of a march that was called off after the attacks.

Some of the demonstrators in Place de la Republique were apparently protesting against France's state of emergency, and have been disowned by the main organisers.

That could prompt increased screening

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has been analyzing the HIV genome sequences and data about location and time of infection, says Yonatan Grad at the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, Massachusetts. "These data help to understand the extent of the outbreak, and will further help to understand when public health interventions have worked reneex."

This approach can work for other pathogens. In 2014, Grad and his colleague Marc Lipsitch published an investigation into the spread of drug-resistant gonorrhoea across the US reenex cps.

"Because we had representative sequences from individuals in different cities at different times and with different sexual orientations, we could show the spread was from the west of the country to the east," says Lipsitch.

What's more, they could confirm that the drug-resistant form of gonorrhoea appeared to have circulated predominantly in men who have sex with men. That could prompt increased screening in these at-risk populations, in an effort to reduce further spread reenex cps.

Every year the Shangri-La Dialogue, organised by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) brings together everyone who is anyone in Asia-Pacific defence circles "to take the temperature" - as IISS director general John Chipman puts it - of security developments in the region.

This year, once again, US-China tensions are centre stage.

Beijing's efforts to create new facts on the ground have been termed by some as an attempt to construct a "Great Wall of Sand" to delineate the boundary of China's interests - a reference to the ancient Great Wall that guarded China's frontier.

Mr Chipman says: "In both the State Department and the Pentagon, we are seeing real concern about Chinese activities in the South China Sea but also about some of the activities of other claimant states who have sometimes sought to make the areas they feel able to control more habitable or to build facilities on them eleaf melo 2

Art Acevedo, Austin Chief of Police

Last Thursday police in Austin, Texas, began a "pedestrian enforcement" activity near the campus of the University of Texas, where they stopped and warned or ticketed jaywalkers miris spa
.

When law enforcement officers attempted to issue a jaywalking citation to a jogger, Amanda Jo Stephen, she refused to stop. Some witnesses say she didn't hear the officers, as she was wearing earphones. Police contend that the officers were clearly visible to her.

In other cities, cops are actually committing sexual assaults on duty, so I thank God that this is what passes for a controversy in Austin, Texas miris spa
Art Acevedo, Austin Chief of Police

One way or the other, according to reports, police chased her down and detained her, at which point she became unco-operative and refused to give her name. Several officers then placed her under arrest, and she was carried, screaming into a police car and taken to jail, where she was booked for jaywalking and "failure to identify".

The reason this became a national story is that a college student sitting at a coffee shop across the street recorded the whole scene and posted it to his blog. The reason it became an international story was what Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo said during a press conference on Friday:miris spa

the economic pressure of single-handedly

I know families where little girls died mysterious deaths. I know women who now suffer lifelong gynaecological problems because they hid in the hills when they were due to give birth in order to avoid forced abortion at the hands of roving family planning police. I know whole families blighted by the weight of the fines for a child born outside the plan reenex 效果

And what of the Chinese children who were lucky enough to be born in the past three and a half decades?

For them there is often the psychological pressure of single-handedly meeting the expectations of two parents and four grandparents who have strained every sinew to house, clothe, feed and educate them... not to mention the economic pressure of single-handedly looking after these parents and grandparents as they age reenex hongkong.
No panacea?

China says its family planning rules have prevented hundreds of millions of births and made possible its economic miracle - by freeing women to go out to work and by encouraging saving.

A low-cost way to purify water

Our product combines coarse sand with functional carbon material that could offer higher retention for those pollutants, and at the same time gives good throughput," explained the researcher

She said that the technique the team has developed to make the sand involves dispersing graphite oxide into water and mixing it with regular sand.
"We then heat the whole mixture up to 105C for a couple of hours to evaporate the water, and use the final product - 'coated sand' - to purify polluted water."

"Super sand" is made using regular sand - and it could become a low-cost way to purify water

Another team member, Dr Mainak Majumder from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, said it had another advantage - it was cheap vpark

The releases were allegedly accessed on the servers of financial wire firms Business Wire, Marketwired and PR Newswire.

In the indictment filed at the district court of New Jersey, prosecutors alleged that "the defendants accessed more than 150,000 stolen releases and executed profitable trades based on the material nonpublic information contained in the stolen releases".

The New Jersey indictment also includes allegations of malware covertly installed on PR Newswire's servers and of login details stolen from Business Wire.

A statement from the FBI noted there were at least 1,000 alleged insider trades over the course of three years.

"We devote substantial resources annually to security, including multiple security audits by leading industry consultants," said chief executive Cathy Baron Tamraz reenex,

"Despite extreme vigilance and commitment, recent events illustrate that no one is immune to the highly sophisticated illegal cyber-intrusions that are plaguing every aspect of our society."

the cause of working people.

He is reviled by many in the party, and his supporters are in decline as a new generation of Labour MPs has entered Parliament, rejecting Mr Blair and the way he tried to rid their party of its left-wing elements.

Mr Blair was more successful as a party leader winning elections than he was as a governing prime ministerreenex.

Fulfilment of his moderate reforming agenda was hampered for several years because of the antipathy of his chancellor, Gordon Brown, who increasingly resented Mr Blair, and wanted him out of Downing Street so that he could take his place.

This gave birth to the struggle that characterised the decade 1997-2007, between "Blairites" and "Brownites".

The former could be found on the centre-right of the party, the latter on the centre-left. Many Labour supporters cannot forgive these two men for what they see as allowing personal acrimony to squander the best opportunity in a generation for advancing the cause of working peoplereenex

"When crisis erupted in Libya

So Sir John's speech this week was particularly timely and interesting, coinciding with one of those moments when the harsh light of brutal events suddenly focuses attention on how much has changed in the worldCG210.

This was his view of Libya in 2011: "When crisis erupted in Libya, we didn't feel it right to sit by as Gaddafi crushed decent Libyans demanding an end to dictatorshipreenex.

"But we didn't want to get embroiled in Libya's problems by sending in ground forces. After Gaddafi was ousted, no-one held the ring to help manage a transition to something better, as the US, Britain and other allies had done in Baghdad and Kabul.

"Libya had no institutions. Who or what would take over? The answer? Those with the weapons. Result? Growing chaos, exploited by fanaticsreenex."

its babies have a healthy start.

The Caribbean flamingo – the brightest member of the flamingo family also known as the American flamingo – has a unique strategy to ensure its babies have a healthy start.

Both mother and father flamingos feed their little one with red "milk". Now, these birds haven't suddenly grown mammary glands. But flamingos and a few other birds (the others being pigeons and male emperor penguins) can make a nutrient rich substance in a part of their digestive tract called the crop – a muscular pouch near the gullet or throatreenex

The nutritious liquid is full of fat and protein – just like normal milk. This allows chicks to feed before their bills are ready to filter crustaceans and algae out of the water to eatreenex.

Both sexes can make milk because both male and female produce a hormone called prolactin. And the unusual food contains chemicals which give the baby its pink colouration. The process, meanwhile, leaves its parents pale and washed outPicosecond

A much bigger star

Magic Mike caught the pleasures and perils of the male-strip-club demimonde with such brazen insider awareness that at first it seems a smart move for Magic Mike XXL to dispense with anything that could be confused with a moralistic attitude. We’re led to believe that Channing Tatum’s Mike has outgrown the glory of thrusting his life away for dollar bills stuffed into a thong. He now has his own custom-furniture businessvirtual office, though he’s still scraping for dollars; the film knows there’s a big difference between following your dream and actually figuring out how to make it pay. Mike won’t admit that he’s feeling a twinge of nostalgia for his days of easy money and easy women, but when he gets a call telling him that Matthew McConaughey’s Dallas has died (actually, he’s just gone off to start a stripping venture in Macao), that’s enough to prompt him to pay a reunion visit to his former buddies. Joining up with them for the convention is a way for Mike to get a taste of what he’s been missing without getting back in the game reenex cps.

For a while, the actors are lively company. Tatum, a much bigger star now than when he made Magic Mike, carries himself like a glowering bull who just happens to be the quickest person in the roomreenex cps.

who is known for his right-wing nationalist views.

Most of the opposition lawmakers walked out of the lower house chamber in protest before the vote took place on Thursday, with only members of the small Japan Restoration Party voting against the bills reenex.

Mr Abe's Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and its coalition partners hold a two-thirds majority in the lower house, which is needed to approve bills.

The upper house, where the LDP and partners also hold a majority, now has 60 days to rule on the bills. Even if it rejects them, the bills would be sent back to the lower house which can then pass them into law.

But the BBC's Rupert Wingfield-Hayes says that the opposition is expected to launch legal challenges to rule the bills as unconstitutional.

Our correspondent says those in Japan who oppose the bills believe they break Japan's explicitly pacifist constitution and also distrust Mr Abe, who is known for his right-wing nationalist views reenex.

Organisers of a large protest which took place outside parliament on Wednesday night said about 100,000 people showed up.

"I'm angry at both the new security bill and Prime Minister Abe. The bill is against Japan's constitution... Abe does not understand it," student Jinshiro Motoyama told the BBC.

Mr Abe first put the changes in motion last year when he sought to reinterpret Japan's pacifist constitution to allow the bills reenex.
